Site Manager

Job Description

Vazcondev is hiring a Site Manager to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial and residential construction projects across Florida. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, maintaining schedule progress, and ensuring work is completed to plans, specs, and code requirements. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and experienced in managing active jobsites from mobilization through closeout.

Key Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in site supervision, field engineering, or assistant superintendent/site manager roles
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, inspections, and quality control procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and jobsite safety best practices
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating trades, vendors, and project stakeholders
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel between local jobsites as needed
Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily jobsite activities and coordinate subcontractor work and schedules
  • Enforce jobsite safety rules, toolbox talks, and hazard prevention practices
  • Track progress against schedule and report production updates to project leadership
  • Confirm materials, equipment, and deliveries are on-site and staged correctly
  • Conduct quality checks and coordinate inspections and punchlist completion
  • Maintain jobsite documentation (daily reports, photos, issues, and action items)
  • Support closeout activities including final walkthroughs and turnover readiness

Accounts Officer

Job Description

Vazcondev is seeking an Accounts Officer to support financial operations for construction and development projects in the Miami market. This role manages day-to-day accounting activities including invoicing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and job-cost support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with deadlines, and experienced with construction documentation such as purchase orders, pay applications, and subcontractor invoices.

Key Requirements
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (construction or real estate preferred)
  • Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and reporting
  • Familiarity with job costing and vendor/subcontractor payment workflows is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and time-management skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, PMs, and internal stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices, subcontractor bills, and internal expense requests
  • Support accounts receivable and customer invoicing as needed
  • Assist with job-cost tracking and basic budget vs actual reporting
  • Reconcile bank/credit card accounts and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Organize financial documentation for audits and internal review

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
  • 0–2 years of experience (internship/co-op experience welcomed)
  • Basic understanding of site development, stormwater, and utility infrastructure
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is preferred
  • Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
  • EIT or progress toward EIT is a plus

  • Proficiency with common PM tools (MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar)
  • Strong contract and documentation skills (RFIs, submittals, pay apps, COs)

  • Knowledge of soil behavior, foundations, groundwater, and site constraints
  • Experience interpreting borings, lab results, and geotechnical reports
  • Familiarity with Florida site conditions (high groundwater, soft soils) is a plus
